Highway Renaming Projects

The DPS Troopers Foundation is attempting to raise money to fund a number of highway renaming projects. Each section will be named after a Texas Public Safety Officer who lost their life in the line of duty. The officers to be honored include:
TROOPER DAMON ALLEN
CORPORAL ROEL GARCIA
TROOPER CARLOS RAY WARREN
TROOPER JERRY DON DAVIS
TROOPER TOM NIPPER

A portion of Interstate Highway 35 to be named the Trooper Tom Nipper Memorial Highway.
