Spending Limit Set for 2024-2025 Texas State Budget The Texas Legislative Budget Board (LBB), a panel of legislators led by Lt. Governor Patrick and Speaker Phelan, met yesterday and set a spending limit for 2024-2025 state budget based on a 12.3% estimated economic growth rate in the next budget cycle.
